Em 2012, eu estava trabalhando na tela do quarto de Van Gogh e uma conhecida que estava visitando o meu atelier, ao ver a tela, me contou que no dia anterior tinha visto uma carta de Van Gogh da coleção de documentos do Pedro Corrêa do Lago que falava dos móveis deste quarto de Arles ...

In 2012, I was working on the canvas of Van Gogh's bedroom and one friend who was visiting my atelier, when seeing the canvas, told me that the day before she had seen a letter from Van Gogh from the documents collection of Pedro Corrêa do Lago that mentioned the furniture of this room of Arles ...

No dia seguinte não resisti e perguntei ao Pedro se ele me permitiria usar uma cópia da carta em minha tela e ele, de uma generosidade ímpar, me cedeu !!!!

The next day I did not resist and asked Pedro if he would allow me to use a copy of the letter on my work and he, with an odd generosity, gave me the copy !!!!
